| CompTIA Security+ certification proves competency in system security, network infrastructure, acess control
and organizational security. Similar to other CompTIA certifications, Security+ is an international and vendor-neutral certification. CompTIA Security+ certification requires one test for completion
(SYO-201 in English). The prior version of the Security+ exam, SY0-101, will be available until July 31, 2009. Security+ test vouchers are bundled
with a cert guide to help you in your test preparation and to save you money. The new 2008 Security+ Exam will cover
Systems Security, Network Infrastructure, Access Control, Assessment and Audits, Cryptography and Organizational Security.
Both "Access Control" and "Assessments and Audits" have been expanded into main topics to better address the constant
changes in security issues. All six domains have been expanded and reorganized on the new exam. |
